Dewatering Screens

HRUS Vibrating Equipment Ltd Dewatering Screens are designed to ‘squeeze’ out moisture in fine material to make it suitable for conveying. To dewater material effectively, slurry is fed onto a steep, downward inclined screen surface at the feed end of the Dewatering Screen to achieve rapid drainage. A pool of water begins to form in the valley as material builds up on the slightly upward inclined surface.

The inclination of a HRUS dewatering screen ranges between 2-5 degrees uphill angle to give a final moisture content of around 5-15%.

Materials such as sand, gravel, crushed aggregates, frac sand, industrial sands, mineral sands, hard rock, precious metals, coal, iron ore, salt and other granular materials can be processed through a Dewatering Screen.

HRUS Vibrating Equipment can supply Dewatering Screens ranging from capacities as little as 10tph up to capacities as high as 400tph. HRUS have experience in de-watering materials ranging from fine sands, crushed stones, metallic ores, slag to coal, potash, rock salt and even wood chip

HRUS Vibrating Equipment Ltd dewatering screens also find specific application in pre-wetting, de-sliming and draining.
